Clubs
The Guernsey Badminton Association has a variety of clubs that run within our Badminton Halls if you are looking to either get more from the sport, or perhaps are just starting out and want to play more.
Each club has their own membership fees, as well as allowing visitors to turn up and pay on the night.

Further Information
Types of games played:
Most of the clubs play men’s, women’s and mixed doubles games – one match to 21 points.
Players mix with different members and the games are usually chosen from a named peg board system, or with a club official organising games.
Standard of players:
All clubs have a wide range of player standard.Β You can go to any club as a visitor and see where you may prefer.
Membership fees:
Clubs usually charge a visitor fee which would be reimbursed against your club fees if you join that club as a full member.
As a player of a club there are various membership fees to be paid, which include social membership with the Guernsey Badminton Association and membership and insurance with Badminton England.Β Your club fees also include the cost of the courts for the evening and shuttles.
Each club has their own membership structure, so please contact the relevant person to enquire more.
Leagues:
Due to a format change in league, clubs themselves no longer enter leagues – it is now done based on pairings, with a member from any club.
Casual play:
If you donβt wish to join a club you can still book courts and use the Rohais Badminton Halls to play on a casual basis.Β
