Congratulations to both Mahidar and Medha Vallapureddy who secured medals at UK Tournaments this past weekend.
Mahidar secured the Gold Medal in the U13 Open Singles event, at the Swindon Stars U13 Bronze Tournament. Having fought his way through 5 prior matches, a close final saw Mahidar take the gold medal, winning 21-17!
As a bonus, Mahidar also secured a Bronze medal in the U13 doubles.
Mahidar’s older sister, Medha, also secured a Bronze medal in the Sankey Academy U17 Silver tournament. Medha just fell short of reaching the final, losing in the semi final 13-15, 13-15.
