Many of you will have watched today’s States briefing confirming that in principle, Guernsey will be moving to Phase 4 from 30th May.
This move will allow sports facilities to resume operations and so this does open up the prospect of the halls being reopened for play.
As they say, ‘the devil is in the detail’ and we are aware that there will be certain continued restrictions, possibly to numbers allowed, and certainly some continued social distancing and hygiene guidelines to observe.
Rest assured that we have already been planning, and remain on the case to plan for, the return of badminton.
More information about the allowed extent of this and a likely definitive timeline and guidance to play document will be forthcoming in the next few days as and when we learn more about the States own guidelines.
