The GBA are pleased to announce that our following players have been selected to represent Guernsey at the Commonwealth Games to be held in Birmingham in July.
Elena Johnson will be competing in her 6th Games and will be joined by Chloe le Tissier, Stuart Hardy and Emily Trebert. Selection for Emily will be bittersweet as this will be her first Games but one she was hoping to share with her brother Jordan. They had been selected to play in the mixed doubles together.
Jordan who was due to play in his second Games, unfortunately suffered a serious injury whilst playing for Guernsey in a recent county match and will be sidelined for many months.
Elena will be playing ladies doubles with Chloe, who will also be playing in the mixed event with Stuart. Emily will be playing in the singles event.
The GBA are proud to have representation at this year’s Commonwealth Games and we wish our players the best of luck this summer.
